At Kellsafe, we have worked with the ground support, line and hangar maintenance teams of airlines to create risk assessments for their engineering activities.

Our consultants understand the challenges posed by the tight turnaround schedules of aircraft. We have adopted a dynamic approach to undertake risk assessments through unobtrusive task observations and retrospective interviews with engineers, to understand the complexities of tasks being conducted entirely.

We have delivered IOSH Managing Safely training to various aviation industry managers. In doing so, we have tailored aviation health and safety courses to ensure that any case studies incorporated in the training are relevant to the activities and risks associated with the industry. Including, but not limited to, safe isolation of hydraulics, electrics, pneumatics and other such energetic systems; work at height, manual handling, exposure to substances hazardous to health, and pedestrian and vehicle interaction.

In partnership with our network of colleagues and associates, we also offer training for specialist plant and equipment including forklifts, dumper trucks, very narrow aisle trucks (VNA’s) and overhead cranes.
