    Should you attend?

Each year, approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health condition, and at least 1 in 6 employees experience common mental health problems in the workplace. Mental health conditions are often hidden due to stigma and fear of discrimination. The Health and Safety Executive’s (HSE’s) guidance refers to mental health in the workplace.

This course is ideal as a natural progression for those learners who have attended the 1-day mental health first aid course. It is also suitable for mental health first aiders and/or supervisors and managers responsible for the wellbeing of their staff. This course could also be of benefit to learners with friends or family with mental health conditions.
